Albert Alonso

I am currently senior researcher at the Research and Innovation Directorate (FCRB/Hospital Clínic Barcelona). Since 2000, my work has focused on the definition, evaluation and implementation of new models for the provision of health services, with special emphasis on integrated care models, often using information technology. I have participated in numerous R & D projects funded by the EU around these topics and have been the chair of the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC). I am also a lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
