Ferran Fillat holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is currently a member this unit at Parc Taulí University Hospital in Sabadell. Simultaneously to his medical activity, he created the 3D Surgical Planning Lab in 2015, and, nowadays, he is its main responsible. His research focuses on the application of 3D printing to clinical practice for the planning and treatment of traumatic and orthopaedic cases. He also participates in the resolution and technological advice in other specialties such as, maxillofacial surgery, general and digestive surgery, vascular surgery and radiology.
